There I was, crying in the men's bathroom after falling off of my pescatarian diet for the 17th time.

It was my junior year of high school and I was on a mission to better myself, mentally and physically.

So what made me cry?

Well, I kept falling off of my plan. 

I would eat foods I said I wouldn't, and struggled to align with my own values of healthier living.

Fast forward to senior year and I was giving speeches on how to eat plant-based in the after school program.

Although I was good at eating vegan, the passing of some family members made me evaluate my true wellness beyond just nutrition.

It wasn't until I found out I had HIV that my passion for healthier living really became my purpose.

This is why I created Melanatural, to enhance your physical and mental well-being through divine intention.
